Description:
Southern 4501 makes a Chattanooga-Cleveland turn on May 1, 2015. This was her first mainline adventure in nearly 21 years and they did it right - without diesel assistance. In this view from the Old Chattanooga Pike crossing "a cloud come up", but the scene still looks pretty good in black and white.

SOU 4501 and SOU 3170 - Mohawk, TN
Description:
Two fine examples of Southern Railway motive power team up on the Lonesome Pine Limited, a Bristol to Bulls Gap turn. The epic duo is see here at Mohawk, TN, just out of Bulls Gap on the return leg. As will happen from time to time, a "cloud come up" before the train's arrival, but it was nothing a little B&W could not improve.
